Emi Path is a composer and musician based in Athens, Greece.
“V O I D” is Emi Path’s second full length album in a discography of five releases, ranging from post rock to ambient and drone.
“V O I D” attempts to combine all of these influences into one cohesive piece of work. The opening track “Not Productive” begins with a spoken word passage: “Who do you think you are? Who do you think I am?” Emi asks the listener. Perhaps hinting that this album attempts to create a new musical identity, combining different influences found throughout her work.
Eerie vocals, synthesisers, guitars and electronics are placed and mixed carefully throughout the songs, creating a dreamy, emotionally powerful album.
