It all started as a tribute live concert after an idea of our bassist Chrysostomos Boukalis. We felt so "warm-hearted" after the gig that we decided to do it again. People started to praise the music and ask for more live "encounters" with this project. So in the midst of the pandemic we decided to make a recording in the studio of Petros Petropoulos "Polyphoniki" who helped a lot with the recording and the production of this album.
A big thank you is owed to Manthos Yourtzoglou for "pushing" us to take action, to believe in this project and the good energy that can project. Thanks also to our good friend Thomas Huisman for his great photographic work. Last but not least we would like to thank ZP87 and Yiannis, The Zoo-Halandri and Spyros Lefkorydis and of course all our friends who supported this project and gave the incentive and courage to continue.
Finally we would like to dedicate this album to Charlie Haden's late wife Ruth Cameron, who sadly passed away on September 2021. We communicated with her through emails last year to let her know of our project and her warm and positive response meant a great deal to us.
