Prone to unconventional methods of approaching their recording sessions, The Velvoids once again stepped into the studio with sound equipment, sleeping bags, and necessities in order to write, record, and produce their new album on the spot during the course of 10 days. Tracking often stretched from late night into early mornings, MOTHER was recorded 2 years after band couple Vice & Dorah had their baby daughter, who was also present during the recordings.
