Formed in 2019 in Toulouse, KARKARA is a psychedelic rock trio. The band has released two albums: "Crystal Gazer" in 2019 and "Nowhere Land" in 2020, via the English label Stolen Body Records. Influenced by The Oh Sees, King Gizzard, King Crimson, and Black Sabbath, the power trio offers an unrelenting deluge of furious and hypnotic psych rock that transports us to a post-apocalyptic setting on the verge of implosion. Screaming amps, supercharged drums, and vocals mixing both sweet melancholy and desperate rage. KARKARA returns in 2024 with a third album, "All Is Dust," via three labels well-known to indie rock aficionados: EXAG’ Records (Belgium), Le Cèpe Records (France), and of course, Stolen Body Records (UK). The trio also shared the European tour of their friends SLIFT in 2024. The album is remarkably rich, and KARKARA even expands their compositions through the contributions of additional musicians such as Jérôme Biévelot on saxophone and Simon Barrière on trumpet. For recording and mastering, the band enlisted Olivier Cussac (Slift, Les As de la Jungle, Terra Willy…), a film music composer, thereby enhancing the cinematic aspect and the invitation to journey that KARKARA offers with this new album, “All Is Dust.”
