Bravo) on Austin Boogie Crew Records. The 7” rapidly picked up steam in the DJ circuit and sold out of its initial 1000 copy run. “Heartbreaker” was embraced by the b-boy community, most notably Jabbawockeez, who performed to the song during Game 5 of the 2016 NBA Finals! As one of our most acclaimed records to date, a repress has been in demand for years. Now in 2024, it’s finally landed! “Heartbreaker” is an amazing cover of the 1983 Zapp & Roger original. Driven by talkbox harmonies, cracking drums, thumping bass, and slick halftime break downs, Starship puts their signature twist on a classic. “Do It 4 U” is a sweet, sultry, space-age stepper! Teeko & B. Bravo chill things out on this one, offering declarations of love over an addictive groove. This jam drew so much attention that it was licensed by Jazz Dispensary in 2017 for their Moon Rocks compilation on Craft Recordings.
