'Mad Lad' is the 2019 live album from Ronnie Wood with His Wild Five, which is named after an instrumental track, originally featured on Chuck's 1960 album, 'Rockin' at the Hops'. Chuck Berry had previously been a massive influence on Ronnie and all of the Stones for that matter, calling him a, 'true pioneer of rock & roll'. 'Mad Lad' features covers of some of Chuck's finest songs with a guest performance from Imelda May on a couple of tracks and is Ronnie's first solo project in nine years.
