Recorded live in France in 1983, this album presents the “King of the Blues” backed by a powerful band led by trumpeter Calvin Owens. The legendary B.B. King was without doubt one of the most influential Blues guitarists of our time. King here is accompanied by one of the best bands of his entire career. Including ’The Thrill Is Gone’, ‘Paying The Cost To Be The Boss’ and ’Every Day I Have The Blues’. Also performing that night in Cannes was the late great pianist Dave Brubeck, a 13-minute ’Jam’.
