Since his previous album ‘Los Angeles’, Flying Lotus has become the torch-bearer for a brand new, truly global movement of musicians and fans – the world can’t wait to find out where he’s going to lead them next.

‘Cosmogramma’ is far too wide in scope to adequately describe, permeated with his rich musical heritage (his grandmother wrote songs for Diana Ross and Motown) and the spirit of his famed aunt Alice Coltrane.

Album collaborators include Thom Yorke (who FlyLo is also supporting live across the US in April), bass virtuoso Thundercat (Sa-Ra), Miguel-Atwood Ferguson (string arranger to Erykah Badu, Outkast, Dr Dre among many others), cousin Ravi Coltrane (son of John and Alice), harp prodigy Rebekah Raff and returning vocalist Laura Darlington.

‘Cosmogramma’ is set to be an important, groundbreaking album in the vein of DJ Shadow's ‘Endtroducing....’, Madvillain’s ‘Madvillainy’, Boards of Canada's ‘Music Has The Right To Children’, or Burial's ‘Untrue’. Several genres of music won't be quite the same once it has dropped.
