After two years since their acclaimed album ABSØLUTIØN and a whirlwind European tour spanning over 30 performances, including major appearances at Gothic music festivals, This Eternal Decay returns with their fifth studio album, SPETTRO.

Building on a foundation of darkwave, industrial, and synthpop, the band’s new release promises to be their darkest, most introspective work yet. Set to release on January 10, 2025, through Trisol Music Group for digital platforms and Swiss Dark Nights for CD and vinyl, SPETTRO is already generating buzz, with the first single, "RISE & FALL," released on October 18, 2024.

SPETTRO delves deep into the shadowy corners of human emotion, exploring a spiral of self-destruction fueled by life’s harsh inevitabilities. The album's nine tracks trace an unflinching path through existential struggles and introspective revelations, blending heavy industrial beats, haunting melodies, and moments of intense vulnerability. Musically, SPETTRO marks a turning point for the band, with a richer, more layered soundscape that pushes the limits of darkwave while incorporating deeper nihilistic themes.
