Gunman & Holy Ghost

Icelandic psych country outfit Gunman & The Holy Ghost fronted by Hakon Adalsteinsson who resides in Berlin and doubles as guitar player for Anton Newcombe & Tess Parks, release their second full length album on cult Berlin label 8mm Musik.

The Story Of Radiate And Novocaine, Gunman's second album, was recorded and co produced with sound artist BJ Nilsen in various locations in Berlin and the process took more than a year. The album, described as misery ballads, dark alternative country, tells tales of opposites attracting and colliding, love and separation, inner demons and the surreal aspects of human existence. Songwriters like Leonard Cohen and Nick Cave are underlying influences - wonderful, smooth alt-country songs.
