Hip T Wah

Οι Hip T Wah ιδρύθηκαν το 1984 στην Αλεξανδρούπολη και το 1987 εγκαθίστανται στην Αθήνα, παίζουν σε διάφορα live, παρέα με άλλα συγκροτήματα της εποχής όπως τους Villa21, Last Drive, ANTI, Brush κλπ., στην Αθήνα, την Πάτρα, την Αλεξανδρούπολη, ενώ τον Σεπτέμβρη της ίδιας χρονιάς ηχογραφούν, με παραγωγό τον Γρηγόρη Βάϊο, το τραγούδι "FEAR" για την συλλογή της Wipe Out Records «Wipe Out Presents: 12 Raw Greek Groups». 
Στα πλαίσια αυτής της ηχογράφησης, οι Hip T Wah "προβάρουν" 7 ακόμα τραγούδια τους, και ο ηχολήπτης του studio Κώστας Στρατηγόπουλος, τα ηχογραφεί και τους δίνει την μπομπίνα της ηχογράφησης λίγο μετά. 
Η μπομπίνα της ηχογράφησης εκείνης, ξεσφραγίζεται για πρώτη φορά μετά από 26 ολόκληρα χρόνια, και βρίσκει το δρόμο της στη δισκογραφία σήμερα, με τα τότε...λάθη μέσα! 
4 ακόμα κομμάτια, από την πρώτη ηχογράφηση της μπάντας to 1986 για το demo της, πλαισιώνουν τον δίσκο.
Ο δίσκος κυκλοφορεί σε 200 αριθμημένα βινύλια μαύρου χρώματος και περιλαμβάνει ένθετο με πλούσιο φωτογραφικό υλικό της μπάντας.

We are happy to announce the release of "Hip T Wah - Fear LP" from the cooperation of Liquid Bass Records, B-Otherside and Wipe Out Records.
The history of Hip T Wah goes back to 1984 when Elias and George formed an  early punk band in Alexandroupolis, Greece.
In 1987 the members of the band all move to Athens, playing in various concerts, along with other bands of the time like Villa21, Last Drive, ANTI, Brush etc. while in September of the same year they record with producer Greg Vaios , the song "FEAR" for the collection of Wipe Out Records «Wipe Out Presents: 12 Raw Greek Groups». 
In the context of this recording, Hip T Wah rehearse 7 more english-speaking songs, which the sound engineer of the studio Costas Strategopoulos records on a reel, and gives it to the band shortly after.
The reel of that recording is unsealed today for the first time after 26 years, and finds its way on vinyl grooves, with all the recordings' faults made at that time!
4 more tracks from the band's first demo recording in 1986, were added to the LP.
The album is released in 200 hand numbered black vinyls and includes an inner sheet with the bio and photos of the band.
