‘Tim’ is the fourth studio album by American alternative rock band The Replacements, released on Sire Records in 1985, their first major label release. The production, by Tommy Ramone, gives The Replacements a wide and spacious sound, more polished compared to the previous records but still not as glossy and tight as many American underground rock records of the mid-'80s. Critically acclaimed and considered one of the best alternative rock records of all time, ‘Tim’ introduced fans to instant classics like “Kiss Me On The Bus” and the anthemic “Bastards Of Young.”
