German band Bohren & Der Club Of Gore are purely instrumental on ‘Sunset Mission’ achieving again a subtle cinematographic power with the greatest possible restraint.
The late night vibrato guitars of their previous masterpiece ‘Midnight Radio’ were replaced here by the saxophone and again the most deadly morbid blues from the heart of the half-dead cities gained a trembling outline and gentle sharpness.
‘Sunset Mission’ was originally released in 2000 and is now available for the first time on vinyl.
