Birthday Massacre

The Canadian group THE BIRTHDAY MASSACRE have become one of the most popular scene-related bands of the past decade, with an energetic mix of 80s electronica, aggressive walls of guitar riffs, and catchy, cinematic melodies coupled with a mesmerizing visual concept and a sweeping live presence. On the band's new EP "Imaginary Monsters", teenage angst, daily horrors and the proverbial monsters-under-the-bed are being funnelled into three irresistible, new alternative pop epics walking the tightrope between gothic, metal and new wave. Furthermore, five colleagues have been invited to develop their own perspective on the group’s songs: SKOLD, COMBICHRIST, TWEAKER, ASSEMBLAGE 23, and KEVVY MENTAL & DAVE OLGIVIE deliver their own highly creative and club-compatible spins on classic tracks from THE BIRTHDAY MASSACRE.  As a special bonus, the EP also contains a data track with a HD-resolution version of the elaborate clip for "In the Dark".
