Released in 1996, Fatboy Slim’s Better Living Through Chemistry helped push big beat from UK clubs towards the mainstream. Norman Cook combined acid house, breakbeats and a gleeful approach to sampling, creating a record closely tied to the anything-goes energy of the era. ‘Everybody Needs a 303’, ‘Going Out of My Head’ and ‘The Weekend Starts Here’ became key tracks, establishing the sound that would make Fatboy Slim one of the biggest names in late-’90s electronic music.

Remastered at half speed. Comes in a gatefold sleeve with liner notes by Alexis Petridis.
