warmly received album ‘...And It’s Love!’, earning great reviews
and radio support in the UK and further afield.
In the time since the last album release, life took a few
unexpected turns, though things have since found their balance.
These experiences now shape the sound and feel of ‘Under The
Weather’. While it’s themes touch on navigating unexpected
currents, the album itself is anything but heavy going.
At it’s heart, this is a collection of Lovejoy’s most open, tender
and quietly uplifting songs to date. There’s warmth, hope, love
and gratitude running through it, even when the lyrics wander
into darker territory. Guided by beautiful melodies, shimmering
guitars, lush instrumentation and easy, unforced grooves, ‘Under
The Weather’ leads you through some of life’s tough moments
with a reassuring hand. If you are feeling Under The Weather or
not, these songs will lift your spirits. So take a moment, switch offand prepare to be soothed..
