Our world does not love history. It does not love to understand it, nor to teach it. Between 1970 and 1990, extremely violent and bloody dictatorships arose in South America. Suppression of rights, imprisonment, deprivation of freedom, torture, murder. This happened not millions of years ago, but only a few decades ago—history repeating itself today, with other human beings annihilated without mercy. I wanted artists to give a soul to the voices and screams, to feed into the music I composed years ago for CLUB ATLETICO, one of the many clandestine detention centers of the Argentine dictatorship.
