The Heavenly Bodes present Green Hills, a lo-fi garage-psych debut shaped by South Cornwall’s coastal surroundings and grassroots scene. Recorded to reel-to-reel in a friend’s living room, the album moves between restless, wiry cuts and slower, drifting passages, all softened by tape hiss and heat-warped tones.

Self-produced and mixed by band member Fin Wilson, the record captures a loose, unpolished approach rooted in 60s acid-garage influences, filtered through jangling surf riffs, weighty basslines and hazy organ lines. Tracks drawn from earlier demos and singles sit alongside new material, forming a cohesive snapshot of the group’s sound.

Formed through Falmouth’s local psych circuit, the band have built momentum through steady live work and radio support, refining a style that feels immediate and intimate, anchored to their Cornish setting.
