In 2019 the Danish psych band Elevatorfører celebrates their 10th Anniversary with the release of their fifth album ’Jeg er kommet for at slå tiden ihjel’ (I have come here to kill time). The new album finds Elevatorfører experimenting with a darker and more orchestrated sound that includes both brass players and medieval instruments such as the hurdy gurdy and nyckelharpa. All this is merged with the raw rocking sound and memorable melodies that are the trademark of this 8 man psychedelic collective. ’Jeg er kommet for at slå tiden ihjel’ oozes with atmosphere and dreamy soundscapes and transports both the band and the listener into unknown territory. This is Elevatorfører’s most ambitious record to date! Released in a beautiful gatefold sleeve with a 12-page booklet!
