Recorded live in its entirety, 'Sahib's Jazz Party' does not only let us become part of the musical experience which that evening in 1963 represented, but also features highly entertaining announcements by the master himself, leaving you with the impression Mr. Sahib was a bit far out that day. The performance however is beautiful and passionate. He played flute and saxophone as only few others could, and was backed by a Danish jazz orchestra that even used an electric guitar, in clean mode of course.
