• A shared love of minimalism is what brought electronica figurehead Fernando Corona (better known as Murcof) together with classical pianist Vanessa Wagner, who has toured the world for the last 20 years.

• Pulsating, introspective and trance-inducing, minimalism reveals itself as the perfect petri dish in which to mingle often-insular genres.

• ‘EP.01’ is a unique blend of synthetic and acoustic textures. Murcof builds loops and sound textures that echo Vanessa Wagner’s piano playing in real time, shifting from ambient electronics to contemporary classical.

• On this EP they interpret pieces by both a canonical composer (‘Godfather of minimalism’ Erik Satie) and a rising talent (David Moore of Bing & Ruth / Langhorne Slim).
