Drawing inspiration both in the roots of American psychedelia (Electric Prunes, 13 th floor elevator, Velvet) than English (Pink Floyd, Soft Machine, Jesus & Mary Chain) WALL OF DEATH transports us to the same song dessert death valley, in the groves of the British coasts.
And then, there is this song so special, evanescent, a halo of mysticism and melancholy this first album. Deluge of guitar, Heavy drums, tripped keyboards, vibrating tracks, for an ode to the rising day that would be celebrated by monks under acid. The Farfisa vintage organ on Leslie booth, Brice's space synths, and the Gabriel burned 12-string Burns have become weapons of mass destruction in the young group's hands.
The Black Angels have not been mistaken, actually adopting the group after the first part of one of their concerts in Brussels, and not hesitating to hire them on all dates of their European tour. They also invited them to play Austin's Psych Fest and offered the opportunity to record this first record in the United States with Brett Orrison, their sound engineer.
